Heather Oyan

I am a passionate veterinarian with a diverse background in small animal care, having earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University. Prior to veterinary school, I completed my undergraduate studies in Biology at Arizona State University. Originally from South Dakota, I moved to Arizona in 1986 and have since embraced the warmth and vibrant community that has become my home.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of running my own cat-exclusive practice, and I’ve also dedicated time to running a kitten rescue, an effort that continues to fuel my commitment to animal welfare. While my early career was focused heavily on feline care, I have recently rekindled my passion for working with dogs and am now excited to offer care for all your small animal needs.

At home, I am surrounded by love and joy from my two dogs and four cats, who keep my spirits high and remind me daily why I’m so dedicated to my work. My mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care to pets of all kinds, and to ensure they live long, healthy, and happy lives.
